So before I went off to work i read a very sad update for the game "Fighting is Magic" being developed by Mane6
[link] , and it definitely rubbed me the wrong way. I keep hearing all this praise from Hasbro thanking and appreciating its fan base, and then when this game gets near compleation after more then a year and a half of volunteer work by its staff. ( i mean no donations or money gained of any kind to fund the project in any sort of way... nor are they going to make any money off its completion) Hasbro has to go and send a cease and desist order... I don't see any way this could possibly harm Hasbro or the MLP franchise in any way. Heck if anything it might draw in more consumers to the show!
I don't know maybe I am crazy... but maybe Hasbro needs to go back and look at what messages it is trying to send through the show and then look at what they are doing to their fans when something like this happens. If Twilight gets to be an alicorn because of all of her hard work and dedication, then why cant the fans who worked hard on this project, out of their own pockets and free time, get to finish their work for the fan base to enjoy?
I just have to keep repeating to myself "Love and tolerate." Though I really feel like the fans are being walked on here.
